Patricia Mugleston joined Rex Halverson & Associates in 2011 as our Director of Tax Credit Services and Paralegal. She brings with her experience and excellent business and legal skills from working with senior partners from prominent law firms, education and construction professionals. She earned an AA degree and certifications from Sacramento City College as well as diplomas from the Business Technology & Training Institute and Moore’s Business College. Her strong analytical and organizational skills have helped to develop new solutions to streamline our California Enterprise Zone and federal Work Opportunity Tax Credits operation. She is responsible for documenting California Enterprise Zone tax credits, federal Work Opportunity Tax Credits and incentives for corporate clients, criminal background investigations at courts, police and state departments, legal research, drafting memoranda, business development, marketing, strategic planning, and preparation of legal exhibits. She also manages our human resources, payroll, and supervises and trains our legal interns.
Patti is also an associate and paralegal with The Rutland Group that specializes in local, national and international government affairs, lobbying, public relations, crisis management and mergers and acquisitions. She performs research and assembles data and presentations for the partners and clients, and monitors daily news events and current laws and statutes. Her work product is well-written, thoroughly researched and timely produced. Her professional skills and attention to detail make her a valuable asset to our group.
